pcActivity Terms of Service

1. The service

pcActivity is business software for companies. It has a Windows agent that runs on the company's work PCs and a dashboard that opens in any browser. It shows activity on those PCs (apps, window titles and active time), calculates daily scores, and lets authorized admins support the PCs remotely, by hand or with AI Support. Each company's data is kept separate from every other company's.

pcActivity is for businesses only, not for personal or household use. You must be at least 18 and allowed to accept these terms for your company. "You" means that company.

2. Accounts and access

• The person who creates the company account is its owner. The owner and admins decide who gets access and with which role.
• Keep sign-in details private. You are responsible for what happens under your company's accounts.
• Remote access, AI Support and the employee notification bar are off until an admin turns them on under Access Control.

3. Free trial

• Every new company gets a 14-day free trial for up to 10 PCs, with every Business feature, including AI Desktop Support. No card is needed.
• If you add a card before the trial ends, your plan starts when the trial ends and the first payment is taken then.
• If you don't add a card, the trial ends after 14 days. The subscription is cancelled, the agents stop recording, and nothing is charged.
• Our payment processor may email you a reminder before the trial ends. It comes from CoderTo, LLC.

4. Plans and prices

Prices are per employee PC per month. Taxes are included.

We'll email you at least 30 days before a price change affects you. It starts at your next renewal.

5. Billing and renewal

• CoderTo, LLC charges you through Stripe, in advance, for each monthly or yearly period. The charge appears on your statement as CODERTO* PCACTIVITY or similar, depending on your bank.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
• If a payment fails, we retry it and email you. Agents keep working for 7 days after a failed payment. After that they pause until the payment succeeds.
• We never see or store your full card number. Stripe handles it.

6. Adding or removing employees

• Your price is the number of PCs on your plan times the plan price.
• When you add PCs during a period, you pay for the days left in that period. The charge is added to your next invoice. The dashboard shows the amount before you confirm.
• When you remove PCs, the lower price starts at your next renewal. There is no credit for the rest of the current period.

7. Cancelling

• You can cancel anytime from the dashboard (Account › Billing). Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for and then stops. It doesn't renew.
• Before your period ends, you can undo the cancellation from the same place.
• Within 90 days after the subscription ends, we delete your company's data.

8. Refunds

You can get a full refund within 30 days of your first payment. See the refund policy.

9. Acceptable use

You must follow the acceptable use policy. It requires you to inform your employees, have a lawful basis, and use pcActivity only on company PCs. If you seriously breach it, we may suspend or end your account.

10. Your data

• Your company owns its data. We process the data the agent collects about your employees only to provide pcActivity to you, as your processor. The privacy policy explains what is collected, where it goes and for how long.
• A data processing agreement (DPA) is available. Email [email protected].
• You can export activity reports from the dashboard at any time.

11. AI features

• AI Support and AI working time are off by default. An admin must turn them on.
• AI can make mistakes. AI Support shows each step it plans. Steps that change things, such as deleting files, changing settings or restarting, wait until an authorized admin approves them. You decide what to approve.
• When an AI feature is on, the text it needs is sent to our AI providers, as listed in the privacy policy.

12. Availability

We work to keep pcActivity available and secure, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. We may update the agent, the dashboard and features over time, and we tell you about changes that affect how you use pcActivity.

13. Warranty and liability

To the extent the law allows, pcActivity is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses. CoderTo, LLC's total liability for any claim about pcActivity is limited to the fees you paid for pcActivity in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

14. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell you by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days in advance. Using pcActivity after that means you accept the new terms.

15. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Courts in Delaware hear disputes, unless the law where you are says otherwise.
